I Can’t Wait Any More (How Long Still Do I Have to Wait ?)

Travelers wrote us this week saying:  “We’ve survived the plague !  A special trip is in order !  We’ve had both of our shots !  Joy !”

We danced the tarantella as we read their words, and understood entirely.

We too are champing at the bit to be out and about in the world’s most varied and wonderful country.

Every two weeks, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues a new report on the subject of travel entry into Italy.

As of today, residents of the United States and Canada may not enter Italy as tourists.

Those travelling from European Union countries must have an urgent reason for entering Italy (curses, not for risotto con frutti di mare), must present a PCR/Swab test that is no more than 72 hours old and must quarantine for 14 days in suitable accommodation after organizing private transfer….

from the airport or point of entry.

Two weeks later they must undertake another PCR/Swab test.

We will update you the moment the next bulletin is out, and shall do so regularly until the All Clear is called.

In the meantime, why not complete our survey (no obligation !) and tell us the kind of trip you are considering ?  Or support us after a devastating year and “buy forward” travel planning for yourself, friends or family ?

Grazie !
