Preparing for New Year’s Eve, I introduce our family’s three guests of honor :

L’olio novello (the new season extra virgin olive oil), one I’ve not before tried, organic, from the Lazio region’s Sabina

Il panettone, without which the celebrations would not be complete. Made this morning by Pasticceria Dolci Desideri (“Sweet Desires”)
